We would like to offer our thanks to all of our partners and funders who mad it possible for us to deliver this year’s BTN projects in Glasgow and Renfrewshire. Our thanks go out to Creative Scotland, Glasgow City Council’s Partnership Team and Renfrewshire Council. A special thanks goes out to Ticketmaster, King Tut’s and XFM Scotland for engaging with BTN and offering some of this year’s participants the opportunity of work experience.
BTN engaged with over 250 young people from various locations across Glasgow and Renfrewshire. We had 3 sold out electric shows at The Classic Grand with over 150 young performers taking part. Student recordings hit over 100,000 plays on Soundcloud and from around 80 school leavers, over 60 have gone on to college or university. We also started our first trainee programme engaging with 4 previous BTN students who are all now on their way to making their mark. Check out ‘where they are now’ news item below.
