Due to the cancellation of last weekend’s event because of severe weather and the knock-on effect it’s having on the schedule we’ve had to make some important changes to the upcoming events so please read carefully below. Thanks!
BTN PRE-PRODUCTION DAY will now take place this coming SATURDAY 10th March, 2pm-4pm on the first floor of The Classic Grand, 18 Jamaica St. Glasgow.
On Saturday you will receive your ticket allocation for the shows, your very cool looking printed posters and we’ll launch all of this year’s recordings live on Soundcloud. The whole BTN team will be there to take you through a number of things that you’ll need to know for the upcoming rehearsals and the shows which are getting closer by the day. We expect to see all of you there!
VIDEO WORKSHOPS will also go ahead as planned on Saturday at your usual time slot UNLESS we have contacted your group directly to re-arrange. For Glasgow schools this is the case for Springburn, Bannerman and Rosshall only. Remember to bring all film clips, images and good ideas with you. We’re also looking for each group to bring some short interview footage with some of your group members about their journey through BTN this year. The more prepared you are, the better your film will be. Check out some from last year HERE
IMPORTANT FOR RENFREWSHIRE SCHOOLS ONLY
We are postponing your video workshops this weekend and will re-schedule with each group when we see you at the launch day on Saturday. This decision was made in conjunction with Renfrewshire Council due to the Rangers v Celtic match taking place on the same day. With the football starting and finishing at a similar time to your workshops we felt it best to avoid you having to travel at the same time as the supporters.
