As part of the programme, each school creates their own band and are taken through the recording process by our experienced producer and engineers. Students come to the studio and are taken through some of the most used, industry standard equipment before recording and mixing a song of their choice. For many, it was their first time in a recording studio but the results have been quite outstanding. Over the last two years we have witnessed incredible development in many of our students.

The studio isn’t only a fun and creative experience, it helps develop self-confidence and the ability to work within a team. We hope all students enjoyed their time and experience with us and look forward to hearing more from them in the future. Last year’s recordings featured some amazing original recordings by Paper Kate, The Usuals, Trippin and the excellent  ‘gas mask wearing’ Heterodox. Various re-workings and cover versions were also recorded of tracks by The White stripes, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and many more…
